Thanksgiving Thankfulness!

Thank God for Thanksgiving! We have much to be thankful for this year - lots of amazing family, friends and fans of Fluff! Come in and pick up some sweet treats for your celebration. From Creme Brulee to slices of pie, to cookie sammies...we have you covered.

We will be taking a brief rest from the rush from Thanksgiving Day until Sunday, 12/12/10. We will be working on some projects here at the shop in addition to getting some rest. We plan on this being the last time we take an extended leave. We want to be here for all of you in the Athens community!! We look forward to ramping it up again for the Christmas season.

Our savory breakfast cake today is Italian Meats & Peppers - Fresh eggs, our housemade breads, genoa salami, pepperoni, roasted peppers, topped with lots of gooey cheese....yum!

We have two soups going today - the Garlicky Ham & Bean, and the Mexican Squash Soup is making an appearance again for all you fans!

Here comes the weekend!

Thirsty Thursday at Fluff!

We're serving up the Beef on Weck sammie today - thinly sliced Roast Beef and fresh grated horseradish on our housemade Kimmelweck roll.

And oh, there's lots of pie! Peanut Butter, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut, Apple Rhubarb, oh my!!

Tuesdays at Fluff!

We're serving up some hot, garlicky Starline Organics Ham and 15-Bean soup today - lots of veggies and garlic to complement the ham.

We also some fun pies for you to try - the Apple Rhubarb and Peanut Butter - something for everyone! Come take a study break, or a break from the mundane here at Fluff...

Last Day!

Also, we will be closing from Thanksgiving Day until Sunday, 12/12/10, to work on projects and to make the bakery even better for you! We look forward to starting up again - getting ready for the Christmas holiday and new classes at Fluff!!

Saturday - Buttermilk Biscuits - Here we go...

We're serving up some Buttermilk Biscuits w/ housemade sausage gravy...yum...

On the sweet side, the red velvet cupcakes are back - come and get it!

Thank God it's Friday and Thank God for Cookies Sammies!

We're starting the day off with buttery puff pastry topped w/ local Cherry Orchard apples soaked in sugar and cinnamon, and/or Starline Organics Pumpkin Cream Cheese.

On the savory side, we're serving up the "Root Soup" today - we start w/ some butter and flour, onions and sweet carrots, and add roasted Starline turnips and Shade River potatoes. Add a bit of sage and you're in heaven baby!

And of course, we have cookie sammies!

Weck Wednesday Baby!

He's done it again. Mr. Kopelwitz is serving up the Beef on Weck sandwich - thinly sliced Boar's Head Roast Beef, fresh horseradish, served up on our housemade Kimmelweck roll.

We're rolling out our Thanksgiving Menu today too! Come pick up our menu at the Shop and pick up a piece of our White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Pie (on our Thankgiving Menu!) to try out....ridiculously good.

Monday......Soup!

Two soups today - Mexican Squash Stew for those of you who love your veggies and a bit of heat, and the first batch of Chipotle Chili - lots of ground beef, Starline Sorghum Molasses, sweet peppers from Shade River, and garlic from Starline Organics, and d'arbol and New Mexico Chili powders. Come in from the cold...

Super Salad Saturday!

Yes, we now have spicy Asian Greens from Starline Farms and leaf lettuce from Shade River! We're topping those off with carrots and Shade River Peppers, beautiful Roasted Beets from Shade and killer red tomatoes from Starline! We're also serving up some housemade dressings....

On the sweet side we're trying out a pie for Thanksgiving...White Chocolate Macadamia Nut topped with Chocolate Ganache and hinted with orange....keep your eye out for our Thanksgiving menu next week!

Yes, Thank God it's Friday!

Not because we'll be taking a day off, but because all of you have more time to come see us and to enjoy a little time away from it all with an almond torte, a cupcake or a piece of savory breakfast cake served up with some Silver Bridge Coffee...delicious...
